Program Curriculum

The ROI ADID Immersion Program inlcudes the following core topics:
- Identity-Conscious Leadership: Leading in ways that takes individual and collective identities into account to level the playing field.
- Sustainability & Engagement: Creating lasting, effective programs, policies, and initiatives.
- Countering Chaos & Unexamined Bias: Strategies to identify and counteract biases and chaos in uncertain times.
- Restorative Conversations: Approaches to manage and resolve conflicts.
- Equity-Forward Strategies: Methods to advance equity across all levels of college athletics.

The program format is a five-month blended learning experience running from February to June 2025.

The goal is to prepare leaders with the knowledge and tools necessary to lead with an identity-conscious approach, integrating equity-forward strategies within their athletic departments and conferences. Under the guidance of Nevin Caple, this comprehensive program offers ADIDs extensive training, mentorship, and a strong support network.

Who is eligible to participate in the program?
Athletics Diversity and Inclusion Designees (ADIDs) working in college athletics, either on campus or in an athletic conference, who are looking to develop their leadership skills.

Can I apply if I am fulfilling the role of an ADID for my institution or conference without holding the official title?
Yes, if your institution or conference has designated you to fulfill the responsibilities of an ADID, even if you do not hold the official title, you are welcome to apply.

Is there a fee for the program?
Yes, the program cost is $1,250. We believe financial cost should never stand in the way of opportunity. For those accepted into the program, we offer need-based financial aid to ensure access for all. If this program feels like the right next step for you, we encourage you to apply.

How can participants apply to the program?
Interested ADIDs can APPLY HERE. Early applications are encouraged due to limited spots available.
Applicants will be notified of their acceptance status by December 19, 2024.
