The ROI ADID Immersion Program is specifically designed for Athletics Diversity and Inclusion Designees (ADIDs) in college athletics. The goal is to prepare leaders with the knowledge and tools necessary to lead with an identity-conscious approach, integrating equity-forward strategies within their athletic departments and conferences. Under the guidance of Nevin Caple, this comprehensive program offers ADIDs extensive training, mentorship, and a strong support network.

Athletics Diversity and Inclusion Designees (ADIDs) working in college athletics, either on campus or in an athletic conference, who are looking to develop their leadership skills.

Yes, if your institution or conference has designated you to fulfill the responsibilities of an ADID, even if you do not hold the official title, you are welcome to apply.

The program runs for five months: February 2025 to June 2025.

The program includes a blend of virtual workshops, discussions, a guest speaker series, self-paced learning modules, and an in-person gathering in June 2025. Participants will also have access to the ROI ADID Community Forum for real-time collaboration.

With various states enacting legislation that restricts DEI initiatives, it is crucial for ADIDs to understand these developments and their impact on student-athletes and staff. The program responds to an increasing need for structured resources and a support system to help ADIDs navigate complex social and cultural challenges while creating inclusive cultures in athletics.

The program is led by Nevin Caple, an experienced sports executive who provides leadership development coaching, mentorship, and guidance on strategy in college athletics and professional sports.

The objectives include developing identity-conscious leadership skills, understanding and implementing equity-forward strategies, creating a strong support system, and providing ADIDs with access to resources in athletics.

Yes, there is an in-person gathering scheduled for June 2025, where participants will connect with colleagues and deepen their learning experience.

The ROI ADID Community Forum is a platform where ADIDs can connect, share strategies, and discuss challenges and solutions in real time.

The program includes discussions on the impact of recent DEI legislation, helping ADIDs understand these restrictions, the motivations behind them, and how to continue supporting inclusive practices effectively within these limits.

Yes, the program cost is $1,250. We believe financial cost should never stand in the way of opportunity. For those accepted into the program, we offer need-based financial aid to ensure access for all. If this program feels like the right next step for you, we encourage you to apply.
